Human Trafficing Conference

 
The Foundation for the Future Hosts Conference on Combating Human Trafficking in the MENA Region


Under the patronage of the Jordanian Minister of Justice, His Excellency Hisham Al Tal, the Foundation for the Future (FFF) hosted a regional conference entitled “Building Networks for CSOs to Combat Human Trafficking in the MENA Region.” The event was hosted at the Landmark Hotel in Amman, Jordan, on September 29th and 30th, 2010.

The conference brought together around 70 regional and international experts from international organizations, civil society, local governments, academic institutions and research centers, with the aim of sharing knowledge and expertise on the means necessary to enhance the capacity of MENA-based CSOs in combating human trafficking, while highlighting the need for increased coordination between these various actors.
