Regional Conference Entitled “Research on Civil Society Organizations: Status and Prospects"

Under the patronage of the Minister of Political Affairs, His Excellency Mr. Mussa Al Maayta, the Foundation for the Future organized a regional conference entitled "Research on Civil Society Organizations: Status and Prospects". This event was hosted at the King Hussein Convention Center, located at the Dead Sea in Jordan, January 26th - 28th, 2010.

During the conference, the Foundation highlighted different research studies conducted about civil society organizations operating within the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, paying special attention to those countries within the region that had seen monumental development over the past two decades. The Conference also sought to build better awareness of recent civil society developments across the region.
